The ‘Deyata Sevana’ National Tree Planting Programme was carried out by the Ministry of Environment, Sri Lanka with the view to increasing the forest cover of Sri Lanka and conforming to the ‘Haritha Lanka’ programme implemented for promoting government’s sustainable development drive
